Artisan Bakery Co. aimed to extend its in-store warmth and craftsmanship into a digital experience. The objective was to translate a local bakery brand into a calm, inviting online presence that feels just as considered as the physical space.

Visual storytelling through imagery
Drawing on my background in photography, I treated imagery as a primary design component rather than decoration. Images were curated directly from the brief to reinforce: Handcrafted quality. Warm, rustic tones. A sense of tradition and care
The imagery establishes emotional context immediately, allowing the interface to feel human while supporting the brand narrative.
Typography & Brand Expression
Typography was chosen to reflect the bakery’s traditional character while remaining clear and easy to read on screen. A distinctive typeface brings warmth and personality, paired with a simple sans-serif to keep content legible and structured. This balance supports a welcoming feel without sacrificing clarity.
Accessibility considerations
Accessibility was considered throughout the design to ensure the interface was easy to read and use for a wide range of users. Colour contrast, text size, and spacing were adjusted to support clarity while maintaining the warmth of the brand driven by curiosity and built on purpose, this is where bold thinking meets thoughtful execution.
